Well, obviously it is because the conflict is resolved and Artemis survives but I want to know what happens after that. Even the ending wasn't exactly a happy ending. Even Mulch only said like 2 or 3 funny things. The books are a action and fantasy series but they also are comedies except for this book where there were barely any jokes. I wish the Last Guardian was funnier as well. In the book the Atlantis Complex we got to see another side of him who actually shows his feelings and isn't embarrassed to say how much he cares about Holly, even though it was a bit extreme and the Orion character was kind of ridiculous. I also hate that after Artemis was cured from the Atlantis Complex he went back to the way he was before and hadn't changed much. It seemed like the author was trying to cram as much action and events as possible instead of further developing the characters and their relationships. I wish the book had more about Artemis and the characters instead of focusing only on the action. ![]() He and Holly have been through so much and sucks that he forgot about everything for the second time. Yeah I thought it was rushed as well and I don't like the fact that he lost his memories. ![]() ![]() ![]() At least he attempted to use his charisma for good, which was more than she had to say for most charmers.
